Getting Started
- What does BizEdge actually do?
- It turns your past customers and Google profile into more work. BizEdge audits your online presence, helps you collect Google reviews from jobs you have already done, and sends reactivation pings to customers who have gone quiet.
- Do I need a website?
- No. The audit runs on your Google Business Profile and Facebook page. A website helps but it is not required to get started.
- Is this a CRM?
- No. Keep using Tradify, AroFlo, or whatever you already have. BizEdge imports your customer list and focuses on growing your reviews and reactivating past customers. It does not replace your job management software.
Billing
- How much does it cost?
- Solo $79/mo, Crew $179/mo, Foreman $349/mo. All prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST.
- When am I charged?
- Monthly, on the same date each month. The subscription auto-renews until you cancel. GST is itemised on every invoice.
- Can I change tiers?
- Yes, any time. Go to Settings, then Billing, and pick the new tier. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
- How do I cancel?
- Settings, then Billing, then Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee.
- What is the founding partner rate?
- $175/mo + GST on the Foreman plan, locked for 12 months from the day you sign up. After 12 months it reverts to the standard Foreman rate of $349/mo + GST. Limited to 5 slots total.
SMS sending
- What number do my review requests come from?
- By default, an international (US) number while you get set up. Australian customers may see this as an unfamiliar number. To send from your own exclusive Australian mobile number, go to Settings, then SMS Sender, and upload your ABN documents. Twilio approval takes 1 to 3 business days, then your dedicated AU number is provisioned. The dedicated AU number costs approximately $8.25/mo.
- Why do I need to upload ABN documents?
- Australian carrier regulations require a verified business identity before issuing a local mobile sender. This is a Twilio and ACMA requirement, not a BizEdge one. Once verified, you are the named party on the regulatory registration for that number.
- Will it spam my customers?
- No. You approve every message before it goes out. The timing is set to match when people are most likely to reply. Every SMS includes a STOP opt-out, which is honoured immediately and permanently.
Email sending
- What email address do my emails come from?
- By default, from BizEdge's verified sending address with your business name in the From line and replies routed to your email. This works immediately with no setup. To send from your own domain (for example reviews@yourbusiness.com.au), go to Settings, then Email Sender, and add 3 DNS records. Verification takes around 24 hours and there is no extra cost.
- Do I have to set up my own domain?
- No. The default works fine for most businesses. Sending from your own domain is an optional upgrade for maximum deliverability and brand trust.
Data and Privacy
- Where is my data stored?
- Your data is yours. It is stored on AWS in the Sydney region and is never sold or shared outside of delivering the service. You can export everything as a CSV at any time.
- How do I export my data?
- Go to Settings and look for the Export option, or use the /api/compliance/export-my-data endpoint. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- You have a 30-day grace window after cancellation to export your data. After that, all data is permanently deleted. Export before you cancel to keep a copy.
